CD1 begins with the outstanding ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ by Queen, followed by Def Leppard’s anthemic ‘Pour Some Sugar On Me’ and Meat Loaf’s classic ‘Bat Out of Hell’. Bon Jovi’s ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’ and Survivor’s powerhouse #1 ‘Eye Of The Tiger’ keep the adrenaline pumping and lead to another #1 from Europe with ‘The Final Countdown’. RUN DMC’s collaborations with Aerosmith – ‘Walk This Way’ and Billy Joel’s ‘We Didn’t Start The Fire’ – still sound fresh today, alongside an amazing array of 80s hits from rock giants such as Iron Maiden, Motörhead, Pretenders, Cher, ZZ Top and Pat Benatar, as well as another hit collaboration between Gary Moore and Phil Lynott. CD4 delivers the ultimate collection of rock ballads and power anthems – the epic rock opera ‘I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)’ by Meat Loaf opens the disc and leads a series of stunning songs from legendary artists such as Toto, Marillion, Alannah Myles, Richard Marx and The Cars with ‘Drive’, along with unforgettable No. 1 songs from Chicago with ‘If I Don’t Do That’. 1 songs from Chicago with ‘If You Leave Me Now’, 10cc’s ‘I’m Not In Love’, Foreigner with ‘I Want To Know What Love Is’ and ‘Every Breath You Take’ by The Police. The phenomenal collaboration between Patty Smyth and Don Henley leads into beautiful ballads from the Scorpions and Roxy Music, before the massive number one ‘The Power Of Love’ by Jennifer Rush provides the perfect finale to this epic selection of tracks.
