This splendid 2-CD edition presents the cream of the crop of Doo Wop – 55 tracks gathering a variety of sensational sides performed by the genre’s most celebrated groups such as The Flamingos, The Cadillacs and The Drifters. These tracks were released on a number of different labels during the heyday of the style between 1953 and 1962. The set is divided into uptempo tunes and ballads, with each section boasting smashes and all-time classics of the idiom.
