Blæst Igen – EP Bioplastic
Ten years ago the ragga-jungle ganja anthem “Blæst Igen” came out. Popular tune with a strong and simple message: yes to ganja, no to cocaine. Produced by internationally acclaimed producer 2000F. And featuring on vocals the dancehall veteran Raske Penge and then upcoming dancehall artist Højer Øye. Højer Øye has since become one of Denmarks most popular rappers of all time under the name Benny Jamz. Now selling out arena shows and topping charts routinely.
This record features both of the two original versions (in a stronger mix by 2000F and remastered by 6 Bit Deep); the vocal one and 2000F’s mostly instrumental dancefloor burner version.
New for this release is the b-side which is the real gem. An absolute KILLA steppas version and a part 2 to go with it. This remix has been an underground hit in its own right in the past few years where it has been played as a dubplate by a few fortunate DJs. By popular demand the Ganja General Dub is finally out for the people to enjoy.
